MATH CLASS

At BrainHub, math is fun! Our group based instructional method facilitates collaboration, builds learner confidence, and anchors the foundational concepts of computation and problem solving at each level, aligning with school standards. Our one-on-one reinforcement techniques target specific enrichment needs to seal the deal! Learners will join us 3 times per week for tutoring.

WRITERS WORKSHOP

The pen is mightier than the sword they say, so let’s get writing! This course reinforces writing fundamentals at the middle/high school level. Learners grow their skills in high school mechanics and strengthen their paragraph writing skills. This sets them up for a seamless transition into proper essay writing. Students learn to write by actually writing and incorporating new techniques into the writing process regularly. Classes meet once per week.

Our primary school learners grow their skills by using the 6 traits of writing. The six key characteristics that define high-quality writing are – Ideas, Organization, Voice, Word Choice, Sentence Fluency & Conventions.

SPANISH CLASS

Our Spanish learners will receive dynamic, introductory lessons to speak and understand the language. From the very first class, learners will dive into pronunciation, common phrases, and other tools that will enhance cross-cultural interaction. Classes meet once per week.

CONVERSATIONAL SPANISH (ADULTS)

Globetrotter at heart? Working out business deals? Aspiring linguist? However you walk the walk, we’ll get you talking the talk! Our conversational Spanish classes are designed to get you talking freely and comfortably in everyday situations. No matter your level of fluency, this class is for you! Classes meet once per week. This class begins on January 29th (10 week course).

STEAM Adventures

Our STEAM Adventure sessions take learners to new levels! Engaging critical thinking, creativity, communication, collaboration, problem solving, and research, students make real world applications of Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math, bringing the concepts learned to life in fun ways! Classes meet once per week . The lower primary class begins on January 28th (10 week course).

Let’s get creative! In our Art sessions students learn to express their creativity in a variety of media forms. Oil pastel art and acrylic paintings will be the focus for this term. Students will implement various techniques for achieving colors, perspective, and design. This class is open for ability levels – beginners to experienced. Classes meet once per week.
